Our campus is located in Yokohama, the second largest city in Japan after Tokyo, and within easy commuting distance from the capital. It is known for being one of the most international and culturally diverse cities in Japan. YNU itself is situated in the midst of lush green forest, hence the name, the \u201cOasis of Yokohama.\u201d In this program, students will learn issues and analytical methods rooted in the humanities and social sciences related to the topics of social resilience and social sustainability. Our classes will be conducted in small interactive seminar styles using the Socratic method.
