Many Japanese universities welcome all students who are currently studying outside of Japan.
They offer incentives such as entrance exams taken outside of Japan, English-only enrollment, scholarships, Fall Entrance, exchange programs with top universities in the world, and transferring systems from colleges.
Each participating university has a designated program for international students
and will be providing the latest information for those who are interested in enrolling in 2024-2025.

Eikei University of Hiroshima is a liberal arts university opened in 2021 publicly in Hiroshima, offering SDGs related curriculum. All courses are taught in English except for Japanese language courses. As liberal arts subjects, Humanities, Social Sciences and Natural Sciences including Environmental Studies are our main interdisciplinary fields, and you can also learn basic ICT and data science throughout the curriculum. We also offer practical programs such as Project-Based Learning, which is a course designed to tackle social issues with companies and NGO/NPOs together, internships and volunteer work so that you can deeply understand the business and community. My name is Raynor, and I am from the International Admissions Office at Ritsumeikan University. We have undergraduate campuses located in Kyoto and Osaka, which are both excellent places to live and study. We offer English-language based programs, including dual and joint undergraduate degree programs in which students can earn bachelorʼs degrees from both Ritsumeikan and leading partner universities in Australia and the US. The YOKOHAMA Socrates Program at Yokohama National University (YNU) is a newundergraduate, bilingual global education program with both English and Japanese as commonlanguages. Our campus is located in Yokohama, the second largest city in Japan after Tokyo,and within easy commuting distance from the capital. It is known for being one of the mostinternational and culturally diverse cities in Japan. YNU itself is situated in the midst of lushgreen forest, hence the name, the “Oasis of Yokohama.” In this program, students will learnissues and analytical methods rooted in the humanities and social sciences related to the topicsof social resilience and social sustainability. Our classes will be conducted in small interactiveseminar styles using the Socratic method. We are looking forward to meeting you all at ourinformation session!
