- Eikei University of Hiroshima
Eikei University of Hiroshima is a liberal arts university opened in 2021 publicly in Hiroshima, offering SDGs related curriculum. All courses are taught in English except for Japanese language courses. As liberal arts subjects, Humanities, Social Sciences and Natural Sciences including Environmental Studies are our main interdisciplinary fields, and you can also learn basic ICT and data science throughout the curriculum. We also offer practical programs such as Project-Based Learning, which is a course designed to tackle social issues with companies and NGO/NPOs together, internships and volunteer work so that you can deeply understand the business and community. The International College of Liberal Arts (iCLA) at Yamanashi Gakuin University is a four-year liberal arts college where courses are taught entirely in English. The YOKOHAMA Socrates Program at Yokohama National University (YNU) is a new undergraduate, bilingual global education program with both English and Japanese as common languages. Our campus is located in Yokohama, the second largest city in Japan after Tokyo, and within easy commuting distance from the capital. It is known for being one of the most international and culturally diverse cities in Japan. YNU itself is situated in the midst of lush green forest, hence the name, the “Oasis of Yokohama.” In this program, students will learn issues and analytical methods rooted in the humanities and social sciences related to the topics of social resilience and social sustainability. Our classes will be conducted in small interactive seminar styles using the Socratic method. We are looking forward to meeting you all at our information session!
