Japanese College Fair 2023 FALL Presented by Lighthouse

Many Japanese universities welcome all students who are currently studying outside of Japan.

They offer incentives such as entrance exams taken outside of Japan, English-only enrollment, scholarships, Fall Entrance, exchange programs with top universities in the world, and transferring systems from colleges.

Each participating university has a designated program for international students
and will be providing the latest information for those who are interested in enrolling in 2024.

    My name is David Eckford, and I am an Australian who has lived in Japan for many years. I am also a graduate of Kindai University. I now work in the Global Education Center of the university, and I look forward to introducing you to what “Kindai” can offer you.     The YOKOHAMA Socrates Program at Yokohama National University (YNU) is a new undergraduate, bilingual global education program with both English and Japanese as common languages. Our campus is located in Yokohama, the second largest city in Japan after Tokyo, and within easy commuting distance from the capital. It is known for being one of the most international and culturally diverse cities in Japan. YNU itself is situated in the midst of lush green forest, hence the name, the “Oasis of Yokohama.” In this program, students will learn issues and analytical methods rooted in the humanities and social sciences related to the topics of social resilience and social sustainability. Our classes will be conducted in small interactive seminar styles using the Socratic method. We are looking forward to meeting you all at our information session!
