Waseda University has a total of 13 undergraduate and 20 graduate schools, offering a varied and dynamic curriculum. Furthermore, as an action plan for campus globalization, English based degree programs have also been developed. Currently students are able to obtain degrees in English in the 7 undergraduate departments and 14 graduate departments.
Waseda University is known around the world as one of the top universities in Japan. Currently, 8350 international students have enrolled from 121 countries, the largest number among Japanese universities. Without a doubt, Waseda is the most internationalized university in Japan.

Support Center
With more international students studying at Waseda than any other university in Japan, we have established specialized centers, such as the Center for International Education, the Intercultural Communication Center, and the Gender and Sexuality Center, to provide support for students no matter their educational background. We are working to create an environment where students can study with peace of mind regardless of nationality, gender, disability, and the like.
