By actively adopting a lesson style in which both Japanese students and foreign students study together, we create an environment in which Japanese students and foreign students can interact with each other on a daily basis. We also offer level-specific Japanese language education according to the level of proficiency of each international student.
School of Interdisciplinary Science and Innovation / Sophomore Ms. Jones Monet Saita
Entered by Privately Financed International Student Entrance Examination (October Admission)
School of Interdisciplinary Science and Innovation (ISI) of Kyushu University was perfect for me because I completed my education in Japan during my childhood and in Nashville, TN for my teen years. I get to learn both in English and Japanese at a college level. I love how in ISI we get to make our own major and you don’t have to decide on a major entering the school, which is very rare and new especially in Japan. I did get accepted to a reputable school in the US (UC Berkeley), but Kyushu University offered me a full ride scholarship, so that was a big part of why I chose here. Last, but not least the location. Our university is located in Itoshima where we are close to the beautiful beaches and deep nature. That was a big part of why I chose this school too. I fell so in love when I visited there a couple of times.
